Applicants for membership must have attended and registered at two regular meetings.

Applicants must preform two working functions at a club activity 
(& have a member in charge confirm) to meet requirements of membership.

The NCAHC, in keeping with its' Constitutional aim to further the betterment of the Afghan 
Hound, has adopted the following CODE of Ethics to promote & foster the highest standard 
among breeders & owners and to encourage sportsmanship & cooperation in the improvement
of our breed.
As a member of the NCAHC, I pledge to advance & uphold this code.

To breed Afghan Hounds that conform as closely as possible to the standard of the breed as
approved by the American Kennel Club.
To breed only from stock that is physically & mentally sound & to refuse stud service to any
bitch that is unregisterable or that shows obvious defects.
To place on limited registration, in accordance with AKC regulations, any Afghan Hound that
show defects of a nature that will make it a detriment to the breed.
I will not donate or sell Afghan Hounds to commercial dog wholesalers, retailers, laboratories
or raffles, except upon apllication & approval of the Board of Directors of the NCAHC.
I will maintain an enviroment of consistent high standards of health & care for my Afghan
Hounds
I will not deliberately slander any person or his/her Afghan Hound.
I will comply with all American Kennel Club rules & regulations.

I have read & understand the NCAHC policy & agree to abide by it's contents.
